PURPOSE
The Metaxas Media Fund is now accepting tax deductible donations through Socrates in the City. Eric and his team, with the help and support of the Advisory Board of Metaxas Media, are committed to raising upwards of $30,000,000 over the next three years to support the creation and development of streaming shows, a subscription based premium content platform, and publishing/curriculum company.
Eric has a vision to transform the culture in America through video content production and distribution which will also multiply his speaking and writing.
The failure of Christians to address the declining culture in this last half century is something of which we must repent.

Eric is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Martin Luther, If You Can Keep It, Bonhoeffer, Amazing Grace, and Miracles. His books have been translated into more than twenty-five languages. Socrates Plus is a premium digital content subscription platform that highlights and promotes new and classic speakers from the series. Subscribers will also receive digital access to the video archive of the past 20 years of Socrates in the City lectures, as well as live streams of future conversations and new channel programs and podcasts with Eric and guest speakers. Members also receive discounted access to Socrates in the City merchandise.

BOOK CLUB
Socrates in the City Books is a publishing venture by SITC host and New York Times best selling author Eric Metaxas. As an add-on extension of Socrates Plus, the club will offer subscribers a new book every other month, featuring new works from past Socrates speakers, as well as classic books reissued and new titles presented in gorgeous clothbound covers with stunning illustrations. This will be the book collection you wish you had. Additionally the company will produce books, study guides and homeschooling curriculum from Eric’s works.
THE TALK SHOW
We assembled a team of Emmy-awarded industry veterans from The Chosen, Late Night with David Letterman, The Dennis Miller Show on HBO, SNL, The Daily Show and The Tonight Show to create The Talk Show with Eric Metaxas.
Following in the classic tradition of Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show, THE TALK SHOW won’t reinvent the wheel but will turn it back to a time when America welcomed a variety talk show into their homes each night. THE TALK SHOW is a new late night comedy talk show that will entertain and respect this overlooked audience.
We taped a week of pilot shows with such guests as Ron Howard, Kathy Lee Gifford, John Cleese, Vincent Pastore, Mike ‘The Situation’, American Idol’s Constantine and more.
We are currently in distribution discussions with Newsmax, TBN, LoorTV and a number of other potential platform partners.

Based on Eric’s Best-selling book, this Netflix/Amazon quality streaming 8 part series will feature compelling evidence for creation and faith through science told with state of the art special effects produced by Vossler Studios.

A Netflix quality streaming series based on the book – If You Can Keep It.
It is at once a thrilling review of America’s uniqueness—including our role as a “nation of nations”—and a chilling reminder that America’s greatness cannot continue unless we embrace our own crucial role in living out what the founders entrusted to us. Metaxas explains that America is not a nation bounded by ethnic identity or geography, but rather by a radical and unprecedented idea, based on liberty and freedom for all. He cautions us that it’s nearly past time we reconnect to that idea, or we may lose the very foundation of what made us exceptional in the first place.
BONHOEFFER SERIES
On the heels of the upcoming Bonhoeffer film (2024), we are developing a dramatic streaming series of Bonhoeffer’s rich story that can be told more thoroughly and powerfully in an episodic format. Similar in scope and budget of Netflix’s The Crown the Bonhoeffer story will be told in a period rich epic style that will appeal to secular and faith audiences alike.
